How to Navigate Differing Parenting Styles (when separated)

Co-parenting is hard. It requires working together and communication. In part one we shared tips to help couples navigate different parenting styles, but how do you work with a person where you difference drew you a part?

There is a reason why couples are divorced or no longer together. Maybe someone hurt the other or cheated on them. Whatever the cause the challenge of working together drove them a part, but now they have to work with that person to raise a child. How do you do that? How do you communicate with someone who you dislike or don’t trust.

Children often feel the pain and tension separated parents have. This is why it’s so important that parents learn how to parent together regardless of what happened between them. In this podcast episode we take a look at some of the challenge parents face when raising children while separated. We’ll offer practical tips you can apply to work in harmony for the betterment of your child.
