The Challenge of Dating with Kids

Dating with Kids

How should a person approach dating with kids, or dating someone who has kids?

Being a single parent is not easy. There are many emotional experiences a family can go through, such as: a parent coming to grips that the relationship with their child’s mother or father is over, the child trying to comprehend that their parents won’t be together, and then there’s the process of meeting and possibly marrying someone new. Navigating this season of life can be a rollercoaster, and cause irreversible harm.

Are you a single parent seeking a relationship?

In this podcast episode we want to discuss the challenges of dating with kids, and offer helpful hints. Please don’t underestimate how important this is. Whether you have a child, or dating someone with kids, the negative impacts of your approach can have huge implications. Children can grow up resenting their birth parents, or rejecting their stepparents. This division can become so problematic that it has been known  to destroy families and marriages. Don’t let this be you!
